Printer lights up but does not print

I have a brother DCP-L2540DW printer which used to work from my workstation before with archlinux. It's a printer connected to my home network and I used ipp://printer_ip/ipp. It still works from my laptop which also has archlinux with same settings.
From my workstation with new arch install the printer led lights up when I send a print command and just does nothing. The print status says print successful. Can someone suggest what should I do to debug this issue? It's really frustrating as it is working with
exact same settings on the laptop. Both the machines have all the packages updated to latest. I am using system-config-printer to add the printer.

Do the ppds in /etc/cups/ppd differ among the systems?
Are you sure the systems are at the exact same cups versions? See https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=248627
