My USB mouse stopped working, after an update yesterday. I reinstalled arch about three times and every time it boots to login screen without a mouse. I don't think the problem is a hardware issue but a software issue. It was working good for about six months with the same mouse. I hope someone can help me. I think this is related to regression testing.

The mouse is there and "it does not work" is no usable problem description.
Please read https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855 and be more elaborate on the context.
And stop re-installing stuff to solve problems, you're just wasting time by this.
