multiple connections on one ethernet interface with NetworkManager

I have an ethernet interface connected and I currently have 2 configs created for that one with NetworkManager. One with DHCP and the other with static ip addresses for ranges I want to use for local debugging.

I would like to be able to have both configs enabled at the same time. Currently when I enable the 'static' config my DHCP config disables and the other way around.

I know this is possible with Mac, and I searched around for a bit and this should be possible with virtual connections if I'm not mistaking? But I'm unsure how to get this working with NetworkManager. I'm running Arch linux.

So the setup should be eth0:0 with dhcp and eth0:1 with static ips being enabled at the same time.
