Hi guys,
after today's Arch update, XFCE is not starting anymore (after reboot).
After successful login I get a black screen and a mouse cursor (which I can move). I can also open the terminal by pressing CTRL+ALT+T.
But I don't see the desktop and the task bars.
I also mentioned that there is no .xinitrc file in my home directory. I'm not sure if it ever was there, but I think so (I installed Arch 2 years ago).
I hope you can help me to find the problem.
PS: I am able to use Gnome, but this is not a long term solution .... I need XFCE.
Kind regards,
Skynet.

@2ManyDogs: I will do next time.
I was able to solve the problem by removing the session folder of XFCE (rm -rf /home/_username_/.config/session).
Seems that something messed up when doing the last update.
