VirtualBox segfaults immediately

Virtualbox segfaults immediately for me:

➜ VirtualBox           
[1]    129625 segmentation fault (core dumped)  VirtualBox

Running on ArchLinux 5.5.6.arch1-1, VirtualBox 6.1.4-2

Looks like this is a well-known upstream bug: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/18679

According to the reply, there seems to be a lack of developer time to fix these issues.

Worked around it by using:

VirtualBox -platform xcb
