Hi,
Recently switched to Arch and installed it on my PC with KDE Plasma. I was listening to some musique on Youtube and creating some folder to create automount for some new drives (I just opened fstab but havn't mad any change yet) when I had to pause the video to answer a call on my phone. I came back and I had no sound anymore. Tried to configure everything I found in the different setting, searched on the forum for some solutions, nothing worked, then on google, nothing either. After one and half an hour of tinkering, I'm resolving to open a new topic.
Note : If I select the integrated speaker of the monitor, it works just fine
I have a GSP 670 from sennheiser that worked fine until now. The dongle (USB) is detected as GSA 70, selected as default device in KMix. I tried to change the profile in the advanced tab but nothing. Disabled the Auto-mute in alsamixer + tried to change the different volume bars
Tried these commands :
amixer sset Headphone unmute
amixer sset master unmute
amixer sset Speaker unmute
for the last one it returned
amixer: Unable to find simple control 'Speaker',0
then this:
arecord -l witch returned

P.P.S. How do I make the long quotes shorter but scrollable? (Think it may be more digest to the eye)
quote tags are for quoting other people.
code tags use monospaced fonts, and provide scroll bars and are intended to surround program output and file contents.

sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
pacmd list-sinks
pacmd list-sink-inputswhile actively trying to listen to something. Also it doesn't become obvious to me, but where do you want output out of? The sennheisers or the PC's built in audio card (resp. jack headphone input?)

I want the output to my sennheiser headphones.

Tried something else this morning : Connect my headphones with my usb cable (used to charge and update firmware, also able to listen music without the dongle) and it was correcttly detected as an outpu device but still had no sound coming out of my headphones.
Then I noted something : In the Volume audio Settings of Plasma under Audio > Advanced the type of profile proposed as changed.
When I first configured it it was something like stereo output + mono input (99.9% sure that there was something with stereo) but now it is labeled as Multichannel output + Mono output. Stereo output is to be seen nowhere in the profil selection of my headphone (via dongle or USB cable). Could this be the problem?

That's what I find weird as well, you have a registered multichannel output but it only advertises a mono stream. Did you do a kernel update in between the working and not working situation? Assuming this is just some internal pulse conflict, one thing you can try is to reset pulseaudio's state information I'm wondering whether this headset announces multiple distinct card and only one get's properly registered, can you post
dmesg | grep sndOffline
Tried the method of deleting the config files and restart pulse but it improved nothing
Here is the output of the command :

So I found a way to use my headphone witch is to connect them through bluetooth (and unplug my dongle), but then I'm unable to use the microphone (at least with Discord. Havn't tried something else) (no microphone found in Kmixer). Only way I found to be able to communicate vocaly in Discord is to connect my headset through my dongle and set the profile as mono input only and set the output to be through HDMI on my CG. That way I place my headset in front of me between me and the keyboard and have the sound comming through the monitor. It doesn't sound that great + the setup isn't really convenient. Don't know if that info helps.

Well after a Kernel update to 5.6.10-arch1-1 my dongle work again. Should I keep this thread open for a day or two in case it doesn't last or close it now and open a new one if the problem comes again?
