Wifi-menu returns connecting failed all the time during installation

I'm not sure why this happens , after using Arch for a while , I decided to reinstall everything along with the new RAM card.

But now , whatever I try for wifi-menu it will simply return connecting failed.

I looked up many webpages online and also Arch wiki but nothing helped me.

I'm just curious to know why

I had a successful installation about a month ago ,

But what is actually has changed that I'm having that wifi connection problem?

I'm just curious to know why

And Jason showed you how to look into it.
There're many reasons on multiple layers why this could fail - and none of us is sitting in front the troublesome system.

What changed is probably already the installation iso, could be a kernel regression in the module for your wifi chip.
Maybe you booted a windows installation inbetween and that's now hibernating (the default) and not letting go the wifi NIC.
Maybe you moved the system to the other side of the room and get no signal.
Maybe you broke the antenna when you upgraded the RAM.
Maybe…

We're gonna need more data to make a somewhat informed comment on why things fail.

Re: Wifi-menu returns connecting failed all the time during installation

Hi there I just installed arch a couple of weeks ago and the wifi-menu didn't work for me too on the recent iso (the june version)
It seemed weird to me since I had already tried the May iso and the wifi was working so I rolled back to the recent iso and installed arch with no issue (but now I'm having an issue though...)
Anyway grab the May iso from here https://www.archlinux.org/releng/releases/ and see if it works for you if you say you already tried installing arch before and wifi did work for you then maybe you are using the june iso now and it stopped working for you (same mistake I did)?
