Limited conectivity + Router wifi connected but no signal.

I've had the limited connectivity issue for a while, in which I have to click on the wifi icon a few times until it kind if just randomly starts working (maybe a permissions issue?). Its annoying but usable. A few days ago however, my machine cannot access wifi _through my router only_.

Issue:
* WIFI connects as usual to router, but immediately disconnects, and shows no bars on wifi icon --all blank.
* Using my phone's hotspot works fine.
* Other machines in my home work as usual.
* Happens with both 2.5 and 5 GHz.

Things I've tried:
* Restarting machine/NetworkManager
* Deleting and resetting wifi connections to router.
* Restarting router/modem.
* Updating my system.
* There are no files under

/etc/NetworkManager/conf.d

* Disable docker service (I've read sometimes there might be networking issues not sure tbh).
* No VPN or VM running.

Searching for the issue online throws results for other distros (which I don't see how to apply to my case) or people solving it with kernel downgrades (I'm running 5.7.7), but I don't recall this being tied to a system upgrade iirc.

EDIT: From other threads I thought it could be a wpa_supplicant conflict with NetworkManager, disabled wpa_supplicant but didn't fix it, and it seems that NM pulls it back in.
