On my LXDE Desktop unrar will not work on the right-click. However - it works from command line.

Your question requires a lot of imagination and extrapolation, but I'll take a stab at it: you are right-clicking a file (what file type?) in your file manager (which one?) and it's presenting you with an option to unpack it (or open it?) and it's "not working". My guess is that the file manager is using a generic "compressed archive tool" such as `xarchiver` and it's not picking up the "rar" file type because you didn't configure it.

I have been using both xarchiver and rar for ages..... anyway that was my version of a bug report. Do with it what you will.

Your "bug report" is a literal "does not works", https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855
You rightclick what in what process?
Then happens what? Do you get a context menu? If so, what do you do with that next? If you select an entry, what does it say.
Be aware that you're sitting in front of the system, we don't.
There's no way anyone can make some sort of informed comment based on your original post, except that of course unrar doesn't work on right clicks because it's a CLI tool (which you probably didn't mean to point out…)

Please share how you solved this.
