After firefox upgrade it refuses to open HTTPS websites
After I upgraded firefox to 83.0-1 to 84.0.1-1 it stopped opening https websites, but http websites worked just fine. Any ideas?

I've had this similar issue after upgrading to 84. I've tried the usual firefox troubleshooting steps, like running in safe mode, using a new profile/refreshing firefox and disabling IPv6. None of it seems to work.
For me when I load a TLS website, it doesn't go to an error page, it just stops loading and stays on the 'New Tab' homepage.
The console log (in the dev tools) doesn't produce anything output nor does stdout/stderr.
Using firefox packaged by Mozilla from the firefox website works fine.
