Black screen when connecting to VNC server set up after the Wiki

I am trying to set up TigerVNC according to the https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/TigerVNC but can't get it to work. I could set up the server, but when I want to test it there was only a black screen.

The only option that really differs from the Wiki configuration are that I use

session=startplasma-x11

instead of lxqt. In /etc/tigervnc/vncserver.users I use screen

:1=myusername

I am starting the server with

vncserver :1

and connect to it with

vncviewer localhost:5901

I have a meeting later and would be really grateful if someone could assist me! Please let me know what other info you need.

That makes no sense if you followed the Wiki. That's not how you start the server. You either use systemd or x0vncserver.
