Unable to use Gnome-Keyring on xmonad

A few days ago I installed Arch-Linux for the first time, I tried to login to vscode (obviously) with no luck and so I looked up the wiki and followed the instructions and installed gnome-keyring + libsecret and set them up according to the wiki.

Now I get 'Cannot create an item in a locked collection error'.
Error

I've tried several solutions with no luck including editing /etc/pam.d/login, /etc/pam.d/passwd and ~/.xinitrc files. It's been 2 days of research and I'm just hopeless. I'm running xmonad as my WM if that matters.

Does

journalctl -b | grep "org\.gnome\.keyring"

show anything?

Re: Unable to use Gnome-Keyring on xmonad

It shows nothing. And my powerlevel10k theme shows 0|1 error.
Error

Fancy prompt that :-)
One more check: Do you actually have the folder ~/.local/share/keyrings?
It's supposed to have file mode 700.
