Switching to linux lts kernel nvidia

Hi

I switched to the lts kernel but the nvidia driver installed with the non-lts kernel does not allow me to safely remove the non-lts kernel. The real issue is I want to the nvidia drivers to work with the lts kernel and not the non-lts version. Reinstalling the nvidia drivers with pacman does not help. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Re: Switching to linux lts kernel nvidia

You need to remove the non-lts nvidia package as well and replace it with nvidia-lts. In general instead of paraphrasing post the full error output and command you are executing. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855
