xorg failure at start

Hello

When I'm doing  startx, it return "unable to connect to X server : connection refused"

I'm on a promox virtual machine


Is someone knowing how to fix this ?

Please do not post images of text, just post the text (and the complete text / log).  On first glance just at the image, it would appear you haven't installed a suitable video driver.

How did you install this system (which instructions did you follow)?  What is the (virtual) video hardware?  What drivers have you installed?

Welcome to the Arch forum smile
I'm not sure if I can help you with your problem as such, but I can give you a couple pointers to get you in a good position to receive more help.

  1. Don't show terminal output as pictures - share the real textual output by using a pastebin service or copy and paste using code tags (see the BBCode link below your post editing area).

  2. Check out Arch Linux on a VPS in our wiki. It also has a section on Proxmox.
