Plymouth

Hello!
Hope y'all doing well.
So here is my concern: in fact I installed plymouth but I can't get it to work on startup since it only shows three square dots and some interrogation mark symbol. Note that the theme shows up pretty well when shutting down. I'm using the spinfinity theme. I've followed the instructions as shown on the pymouth installation page on the arch wiki. I even watched a tutorial on youtube to confirm I did the installation well and everything seems to be fine but the theme doesn't work at startup. Please help!!!!
