Kernel panick help

I was doing a
pacman -S gnome alsa-lib alsa-oss alsa-util gnome-extras
after a fresh install, and while installing Vimo(or something) it was at 99% and my comp restarted, and now it comes up as a kernel panick. Please help

Re: Kernel panick help

get the install disk and chroot into your box. Firstly, reinstall your kernel then reinstall those packages you were trying before it rebooted.

Re: Kernel panick help

If you want help, put a question mark at the end of your sentence. \:

Well... I originate in this being a question:
Just edit the corresponding line in /etc/grub/menu.lst.

Re: Kernel panick help

On my laptop, it exists in /etc as a symlink, but I cannot recall whether I put it there or it was there already.
