how to map url to vpn

With vscode I can't add or update extensions without downloading the file manually with Firefox and then.

So I tried "wget az764295.vo.msecnd.net"

And get:

So as setting up a vpn on a cloud server is so simple, I would like to route msecnd.net through a vpn.

So how can I map the URL( msecnd.net) to the vpn and not just map IP address(152.199.19.16) ?
