avidemux 2.0.20

Hi,

when I installed avidemux (the actuall update from today), and started, he missed one library:

[morphus@spielemorph morphus]$ avidemux2
avidemux2: error while loading shared libraries: libxvidcore.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

A pacman -S xvidcore solved this problem. Perhaps you just have to add xvidcore to the dependencies.

Re: avidemux 2.0.20

avidemux loads fine, but when I try to play a video, I get this:

---------------------------

One frame : 33, err=3 ms

1 audio frame = 4224 bytes (1).. Offset ...33 ms

OSS  : 32000 Hz, 2 channels
OSS  : 32000 Hz, 2 channels
Xv YV12 found at port :69, format : 842094169
Xv init succeedeed

Using xv
The program 'avidemux2' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 9450 error_code 11 request_code 140 minor_code 19)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Goodbye...

----------------------

I was able to play videos last night before configuring sound, so I imagine it may be related to that.  Any suggestions are very much appreciated.

Thanks

Re: avidemux 2.0.20

Now that you mention it, I installed XFCE4, and that may have been after playing videos.  I can't remember for sure.  I'm back to using gnome now, and have uninstalled XFCE4.

I tried reinstalling avidemux, but that didn't change anything for me.
