SOLVED
I am an idiot - I just wiped my system out with e2fsck sheeeeesh. I'm going to reinstall tomorrow night sometime.......ugh.
Hey,
I had a bad memory stick that started throwing my machine into fits....... after finally realizing the problem I pulled the stick and now have just one - it's a gig so I'm fine there. Here is the problem:
I can't connect to the net now. This is a triple boot machine with two hard drives. The other systems connect but my main system, Arch, will not connect - hmmm.
Ifconfig show my inet addr:192.168.0.101 like always but I still can't connect. I should probably post this in newbie corner. Where would ya'll look to fix this?
dhcpcd is going
network on boot is succesful although I notice firestarter fails.
Also, when I try to ping it says: ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted
**I keep editing this as I find more stuff**
I've decided to just stick another ethernet card in instead of using the onboard nv. I'm sure that will fix it BUT now I'm getting "file system check failed" error on boot...........I may just reinstall.....again.
I never have problems with Arch on my laptop. It just keeps going and going ..... my laptop is becoming my main work station......crazy.
Thanks......again:)
