[Solved]My Gnome Desktop always turns into black screen in 5 minutes.

I've tried to set it to never in the Gnome Settings, but once I close the window and open it again, it becomes 5 minutes again.

Re: [Solved]My Gnome Desktop always turns into black screen in 5 minutes.

There is a bug with control center
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/75909?s … &closedto=. There are other issues that affect this as well.

For the time being, you can disable it with:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.session idle-delay 0

Or set it to a longer period

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.session idle-delay TIME_IN_SECONDS
