Monitoring an Application for Network Access

Hi there,

I need to use a piece of proprietary software and would like to be able to monitor it to see if it's connecting to the internet and how much data is being transferred.

Also the ability to block it's internet access would be helpful.

Does anyone know a program that would help me achieve this?

opensnitch is what I use.
