The update for re2 (1:20220601-1 -> 1:20221201-1) broke my ungoogled-chromium (108.0.5359.94-1) from SuSE repo.
Application wasn't starting anymore from the launcher and doing that manually gave me this:
/usr/lib/chromium/chromium: error while loading shared libraries: libre2.so.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I had to reverse to previous re2 library to make it working again and added a line to my pacman.conf to keep it working across upgrades:
IgnorePkg = re2
FIXED

You (or whoever maintains that repo) need to rebuild the package against the new library. Downgrading re2 is not a solution and will break packages that have been rebuilt (i.e. any in the official repos).

I do am aware of this.
Only I cannot wait for a new release of ungoogled-chromium.
Downgrading re2 is a workaround that seems is not breaking ATM anything running in my system.
In case I see problems I will evaluate the impact and take a decision.
Thanks anyway for the support.

Cool! How did you find the repo? I tried but ended up in SuSE website where I was not allowed to post anything.

It has been fixed today with 108.0.5359.94-2.
re2 needs to be updated or it won't work, obviously.
Just updated to 108.0.5359.98-1.
