[SOLVED] Stuck on "Loading initial ramdisk image..."

All posterior reinstalls were done following archlinux wiki!

TL;DR after succesfull install and after months, updated arch no longer boots (subject), tried fixing from flash drive boot and reinstalling twice, tried linux-lts kernel, re-built intrams img and all that

I'm a relatively new linux user, beggining my journey in January of this year, and prior to this install I've succesfully installed arch, with Plasma, in the same PC I'm using right now, with hardware posterior to 2013. Thanks to Mental Outlaw on youtube my first install went flawless. Only issues I had were when I'd decided to change nouveau to propietary drivers, in case I wanted to game for optimal performance. After updating drivers went away and I was left with tty since I'd installed with shell scripts. After installing the appropiate packages issue was solved.

Few days ago, Not earlier than 29 of March after a """succesful update""" I turned off my PC and went to sleep. And the next day I woke up to the title. Grabbed my archiso and got to see what was the problem. At first got scared because I forgot to mount properly so I thought my stuff went to wonderland. Then when I saw everything was in place I didn't understand what could be wrong.

After a little bit of Google (yuck),

arch-chroot /mnt

-ed into it, successfully, then when I wanted to update or install packages, pacman couldn't confirm the signature (never experienced before). Dear friend (:P) google said that my mirrorlist was out of date. Tried playing with reflector, updated the list, and still the same. Since had little time with arch had little files so I bailed.
Tried fresh install, carefully reading the wiki. No luck. tried a number of things, checking grub files, rebuilding the ramdisk image, changing to long term support kernel but none worked. Installed again, nothing.
Have seen a recent thread under Kernel & Firmware tag and the  further the thread went the less I understood. Finally gave up, created an arch forums account put a sick username cool. And here I am sad.

I mainly need help troubleshooting, the wiki doesn't offer much help in the sector of my problem from what I understood.

Re: [SOLVED] Stuck on "Loading initial ramdisk image..."

Hello again. Started UNI so took a while to do the homework.

From an archiso in a flash drive I mounted the partitions. Then I arch-chroot ed into the system, and spat dmesg into this pastebin (in the future I'll use a real client). Noticed dmesg only shows current boot. And journalctl outputs "No journal files were found.". Guessing because I don't see any systemd messages even when taking out quiet parameter in grub commands.

Posting output for this message.

Hope you can still help me.

And journalctl outputs "No journal files were found.".

journalctl -b -1

The current journal is for and on the archiso root.

Try to install and boot the LTS kernel.

Right now can't post journal output. I will tell you that I've installed linux lts, booted the proper ramdisk image and it didn't boot.

Re: [SOLVED] Stuck on "Loading initial ramdisk image..."

Okay it booted.

Needed the computer so I installed ubuntu. It was too gross (imho) and had to try again since why wouldn't it work. Followed this YouTube video, and I won't go check specific differences with the wiki article, (which I PROPERLY followed), but I know one of them is the EFI partition mount point. Other is installation of os-prober, but again you will probably know what made my pc boot. If you need aditional info please ask. See ya in hell (x installation, xmonad config files, audio drivers & software installation).

Re: [SOLVED] Stuck on "Loading initial ramdisk image..."

Souce you erased the previous installation, there's no way to inspect the logs on where you fucked up.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.

Though as this thread contains no useful information at all but now the silly advice to follow some youtube tutorial, you probably best report it for deletion.
