WRT: Invalid buffer destination

I have just installed Archlinux on a brand new X1 Carbon laptop.
I am currently trying to setup networking with iwd but I am unable to connect to the internet. In dmesg, I am getting this error message:

[ 0.074016] iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: WRT: Invalid buffer destination

Any solution to this?
I used the same iwd to connect to the internet during installation with archiso so the interface is ok. But when I try to connect to the same network on the new installed system I get the 'Temporary failure in name resolution' error.

Re: WRT: Invalid buffer destination

Try the LTS kernel in the meatime.

Thanks setth. Unfortunately the linux-lts kernel doesn't  solve the issue.
From the post, the patch seems to solve it but I haven't patched or compiled a kernel before so how does one safely apply the said patch on current kernel?
Also how does one know when the bug is resolved? Otherwise I can't really work with this new laptop.

Maybe loqs also still has the patched kernel around.
