Display port 2nd monitor issue

I have a dual monitor setup. Both running display port. The 2nd monitor is g sync and its flickering. I want to disable g sync, but I notice that in nvidia-settings when I disable it, it only disables for the 1st monitor and not the 2nd. Why is G sync forced on? Also, when I replace my display port cable with and hdmi cable, the nvidia-settings with gsync unchecked now is able to disable gsync for both monitors and the monitor now works perfectly. There is nothing wrong with the display port cable, both monitors work perfectly in Windows. Why can't my 2nd monitor use display port when it works fine on hdmi and also why can't gsync be disabled when using display port?

Re: Display port 2nd monitor issue

Please don't paraphrase, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Variab … _on_NVIDIA
What does nvidia-settings actually say and how does what not disabe VRR?

Also please post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General to eg. rule out that the second DP port isn't wired to a different GPU.

Then see the 3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.
