Wireguard file not readable

Hello,

I created wireguard for my router (fritzbox) and I was able to import the configuration using the gnome network configuration with the name "wp_config.conf" or "wp_home_config.conf" but as soon as I rename and import this file it, for example "wp_fritzbox_config.conf" I receive the error that the file can to be read or does not include valid configuration. Afterward the window including the error message freeze, therefore I have to kill the process. The more suspect part is that importing "wg-SE-DE-1.conf" works fine.
The issue can simple be repoduced by renaming the file. The same issue exists for wireguard configurations created by protonvpn.

Is there any naming convention I don't know and didn't find when I search for a similar problem description ?
Does anyone had the same issue ?

BR
