I recently installed KDE Plasma with wayland session. I have a strange
problem where when I login into a wayland session, my keyboard and
mouse stop working at all until I reinsert my keyboard and mouse. I
couldn't not find anything about it on the Wiki. I have tried,
restarting, powering off and starting, reinstalling KDE, deleting my
configuration files related to KDE, etc.

If you were previously using a plasma x11 session and switched to plasma Wayland at login (presume from an SDDM login greeter) - then you might have to unplug and replug the mouse, and then go to the system settings and check the mouse settings as the Wayland settings for the mouse ( and touchpad tap to click etc ) used to be different to the x11 settings for the same device. Similarly if you are using an external keyboard plugged in to usb it is also possible that once re-inserted for Wayland you may have to check the settings once you are logged in again during the Wayland plasma session to make those settings get stored. If you do that, and then see if that resolves the issue?

I don't have any special settings for my keyboard and mouse. And I didn't use the X session before using the Wayland session.

Changing the USB port I use for my keyboard and mouse seems to fix the issue.

I recently had the same issue, making these changes resolved it: https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs?action= … re=Compare I left more details here (found the other thread first, from your edit on the emacswiki, didn't actually have the issue described in it): https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 9#p2141499
