[SOLVED] Networking between machines on a bridge slow

Connecting 2 Macs to an ArchLinux server over thunderbolt-net. iperf3 between either Mac and ArchLinux shows >19gbps.
iperf3 between the Macs shows < 10mbps.

Any idea what could cause this?

sudo sysctl net.inet.tcp.tso=0

on the Macs fixed it.
