ncmpcpp hidden columns

I find ncmpcpp to be a neat addition to my desktop, but I can't seem to find how to disable columns in it. I'd much rather have them hidden all the time. Is this possible?

By columns I mean the vertical lines, as in the image above.

Re: ncmpcpp hidden columns

That looks like the media library view on top of an empty database?
https://i.imgur.com/4cpblN3.png is what the playlist in my ncmpcpp looks like right now (it's daylight aware wink

Re: ncmpcpp hidden columns

The image you provided shows a playlist; mine is the media library (which happens to be empty). My problem isn't the content, but the vertical lines separating the text in my ncmpcpp interface. I want to hide those lines, but haven't found an option in other configs or the man page. Those lines are not present in the playlist view, but instead are shown in the forth, fifth and sixth screen respectively.

Re: ncmpcpp hidden columns

Yes, I know. I though you were merely looking for a different view (because of the completely empty database and the pointless media library view only showing the splitters)

I don't think that you can control that color, they're probably hardcoded to fg.
