The notifications are appearing on the wrong screen. If I change the screen priority of my non primary screens, they even change, where they appear (left or right monitor). And if I put my left screen as primary then the notification is on my main middle screen.

Pretend you'd not seen what you're talking about and read your post.
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855
What notification server on what display server with what WM/DE and how's "my left screen as primary" when "my main middle screen"?
Offline
Well, I would've uploaded images but here is no upload img button or something like that.
In systemsettings you can change the Screen Priority. My Main Middle Screen (2k) isn't showing the notifications here, but instead, on my left screen. If I now go and change those settings, so my left screen in the os is my main/priority screen, then the notifications are on my middle screen, where there should be, but everything else is now on the "software main" monitor (the left one). The "main" monitor from my pov is the one infront of me, the 2k one.

Images won't help with this.
So it's plasma 6 on X11 => is this a KDE6 regression?
Do you use the plasma notifications or eg. dunst?
What's the output of
xrandr -q
KWin will probably interpret either the monitor w/ the mouse cursor or the focused window as "active", does that somehow explain the behavior?
Offline
Well, KWin doesn't care where my cursor is, it's always the left monitor.

You should be able to configure the position and it seems to default to the notification icon in the takbar, https://userbase.kde.org/images.userbas … cation.png
Offline
Well, this is where you can set the location of the notification on the same screen. I tried it, now it is in the top middle of my left screen.

Does the notification follow the panel resp. the location of the notification item?
If the behavior is otherwise borderline random (and it's apparently not following the randr primary or KDEs/kscreens internal order) the only thing left is to file a bug upstream.
Offline
It seems, that there is a "main" panel. I switched the panel via Editmode and then "Manage Desktop and Panels" and now the notifications appear on the right ("my main middle") screen.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
Since the behavior seems rather peculiar (notably as there's a GUI config for the position, but you cannot really control the position, at least w/ multiple outputs) you might want to record your finding in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/KDE
Offline
Well, you can edit the position, but the position of the notification is only for the screen the notification appears on.
