Really weird paper size options in printer settings

Hi everyone,
I just finished setting my printer, installing cups and system-config-printer, and I was able to see and select it. But when it comes to set the paper size (cause it is usually set to the letter format, while I want the A4 one) I see a list of reaaaally weird options. Just to do some examples we have: 30859 Paint Can Label, Address, File Folder, Hanging Disk... I don't know about you, but I've never heard about these ones.
Of course I tried to google some of them, to check if they were part of any strange standard, but nothing.
I also tried setting /etc/papersize to A4, but the problem remains.

Now, my printer doesn't know what to do with those ones, also because in the preview they seem really long (like 3 times the length of an A4 sheet), so it refuses categorically to print.
Can anyone help me? Maybe I'm missing something

Not sure. Is it this line?
Defaults: job-sheets=none, none media=custom_57.15x79.38mm_57.15x79.38mm sides=one-sided

Click "printers" in the top row, select your printer, select "administration" and "set dafults" (all tokens reverse translated, my cups is localized)
You should be able to set the page size there.

They'll come from the PPD then.
What kind of printer/driver do you use/configure?

I have a HP LaserJet M110w, and I think the driver is this one "DYMO Label Printer (grayscale)". It was found automatically

That ppd will get you "weird" media sizes because it's a label printer - not yours

It doesn't seem to be airprint/ipp everywhere compatible (the printer manual will typically advertise, so have a look) but you could try hplip (you'll also need the hplip-plugin from the aur) or https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/foo2zjs-nightly
The DYMO driver is categorically wrong.

Yeah, after some research I fixed that and now I get the correct formats. But the printer still doesn't print

What driver(s) did you install and configure?
If you raise the debug level, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/CUPS/T … #Debug_log and restart cups and try to print, what gets logged for printing attempts?

Edit: according to https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imag … ices/index at least hplip supports the printer.
