Wat may be causing this problem, I wonder?
My logind.conf is configured to ignore laptop lid switc hwhen closed, so as to enable clamshell and watch video on external monitor. Unfortunately the networkd fails to keep the carrier running.
The cpu continues to be active, and not powering down.
The result is that steming videos eventually run out of puff (i.e streaming and buffering ceases).
