NVIDIA Prime causes entire system to freeze

Using NVIDIA Prime via the prime-run command and running a game will cause the entire system to freeze and lock up, the only way to unfreeze is either a forced shutdown or sshing into the system and restarting sddm. I am using the proprietary nvidia drivers and using x11 for my display system and the kde plasma desktop environment. I found some posts about this on Reddit and all of them said that its an issue with the kernel, if that's the case then how am I supposed to fix this problem. Should I use an older kernel version?

isn't true.
Please post your complete system journal for the boot after the crash

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

The system journal is at http://0x0.st/XcAj.txt and the Xorg log is http://0x0.st/XcA2.txt. Another thing I would like to add is that the mouse worked but nothing else did, not even switching to another tty

anyway the new kernel fixed the problem so yeh the forum is useless
