using "code ." command does not open vscode.

I just switched from ubuntu to arch and i am using plasma, i have the official vscode installed but the "code ." command does not seem to work for me. i checked on the internet i was told to change the "shell command" thing in vscode itself but nothing of that sort pops up on searching.

i have no clue on how to attach an image on this website so ill upload it on imgur

Re: using "code ." command does not open vscode.

Mod note: Moving to AUR Issues.

EDIT: I'm assuming that "official vscode" in this case means the proprietary Visual Code software (either installed via https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/visu … o-code-bin or through some installer that Microsoft provide on the vscode website). If you're using the OSS 'code' package from the extra repo, please let the mod team know by using the report feature.
