[SOLVED] Bumblebee "Cannot access secondary GPU"

I was installing bumblebee following the wiki, but when it came to testing if it worked, I got this error (service is enabled)

[   96.220023] [ERROR]Cannot access secondary GPU - error: Could not enable discrete graphics card

[   96.220050] [ERROR]Aborting because fallback start is disabled.

Nvidia drivers are installed. What could be the issue?

(I get the error message whether I run the (optirun glxgears -info)or the (optirun glxspheres64) command)

You do not need to and do not want to use bumblebee on your hardware. Get rid of all of that, install nvidia-prime and use prime-run to offload applications to the dedicated GPU. Maybe read: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PRIME# … er_offload
