Hi, I have a WiFi Dongle Archer T3U Plus which I have been using for a couple of years. Since very recently the speeds I am getting are very low (around 35MBps). Same computer, same dongle, booting in Windows 11, I get over 200MBps (before someone says the usual, yes Fast boot, fast start, ... has been disabled in Windows). As I said, the speeds were OK until recently. I cannot pinpoint exactly which update killed it, but I had a big update perhaps on Monday which also updated the Kernel. At some points it is loading the images row by row like if I was using a 56k router.
The driver being used is rtw_8822bu. I think this is the default driver from the Kernel. I don't see any alternative drivers, so no idea what I can do.
Why is the dongle so slow in linux when compared to windows?
