I assume, i have been blocked somehow, but the Wiki, AUR, and Bugs (bbs, top level domain work) are all giving me a connection refused.

Searching through the forums, i can confirm that A) I do not have any outbound blocks (no firewall blocks etc) B) Its been 2 months, so not subjective to a ban/block period C) works from 5G mobile. I understand Hetzner is the company hosting some of the Archlinux services, is it better for me to reach out to them, or is there something that I have missed.

Appreciate any thoughts and assistance. My next plan is to release/renew my ISP IP address, but that requires us to turn off the net for 24 hours, and with a family of 6, a bit hard to do.

The IPs are correct and all respond for me.
=> tracepath?

Same ISP?

@callmejoe, do you also have this since 2 months and do you also live on the butt of the planet?

funny. no i am not downunder. i am in US.

traceroute shows gitlab.archlinux.org being reached in 100ms.

I tried from my mobile LTE and I can reach the site.  but using wifi on mobile I can't reach the site.

Could it be my ip was banned??

Re: [SOLVED] Wiki, AUR, Bugs, Connection Refused on home IP

Unlike the OP you
* only experience this today? (not 2 months)
* only on the gitlab host? (not the wiki)

Sanity check: Do you resolve the same IP on the mobile broadband?

i said i had a similar issue. not the same exact issue.  not sure why you need to keep making a point about that.

it is why i made my own separate post.

good day

Re: [SOLVED] Wiki, AUR, Bugs, Connection Refused on home IP

I'm, not making a point but asking for clarification on the situation - notably whether you only noticed this today or only experienced this today (but it worked yesterday) and whether other hosts are affected besides the gitlab service.

Because in that case you've most likely been blocked, did your WAN IP change since yesterday?

Re: [SOLVED] Wiki, AUR, Bugs, Connection Refused on home IP

started happening yesterday.

my wan ip has been the same for quite some time.

no other hosts are affected.

if i connect to my vpn i can get to the gitlab site.

so who can unblock me if that is the case?
