[Solved]Why is chcon in coreutils even support SELinux is unsupported

It seems runcon and chcon of coreutils is commands for SELinux.
But it seems Arch does not support it.
Moreover, coreutils-selinux exists in AUR.
What kind of compatibility is being broken if they are removed from coreutils?

They’re built by default and Arch follows upstream unless there is a strong reason to do otherwise.

Thankyou. So are they unneeded technically?

Or no. I can't add [Solved] to titie since it is too long.
[Edit] shrinked title.

I’m not sure.

I believe they don’t work on systems without SELinux. But I suppose other programs may still wish to invoke them and get an error, instead of not finding the binary.
