I am completely new to Arch Linux and have very little knowledge about how to troubleshoot issues.
When I booted up my laptop, the network was unavailable for me to perform a full system update because I left it unused for nearly 2 months.
According to Google,
systemctl status NetworkManagerto check my network manager status, it says it's Active.
But it
nmcli dev wifidoesn't show anything and
nmcli dev wifi rescanoutputs "Wi-fi devices not found" or something like that. I opened up nmtui to activate the connection; it shows only 1 wifi connection named "Loopback," and I can't connect it or do anything.
Rebooted my laptop hundreds of times; nothing works. I'm kinda desperate now.

Check your pacman log but most likely you had not installed the relevant firmware sub-package?
