[SOLVED] Network Manager is not showing Wi-fi devices??

I am completely new to Arch Linux and have very little knowledge about how to troubleshoot issues.

When I booted up my laptop, the network was unavailable for me to perform a full system update because I left it unused for nearly 2 months.

According to Google,

systemctl status NetworkManager

to check my network manager status, it says it's Active.

But it

nmcli dev wifi

doesn't show anything and

nmcli dev wifi rescan

outputs "Wi-fi devices not found" or something like that. I opened up nmtui to activate the connection; it shows only 1 wifi connection named "Loopback," and I can't connect it or do anything.

Rebooted my laptop hundreds of times; nothing works. I'm kinda desperate now.

Re: [SOLVED] Network Manager is not showing Wi-fi devices??

Check your pacman log but most likely you had not installed the relevant firmware sub-package?
