workin vsftpd conf for a LAN ftp mirror (pacman) ?

the vsftpd server that we used (enabling local upgrade & install from mirrored AL repos) stopped working some weeks ago. Change may have been any upgrade or a change of rights on mirrored directories we blindly made at some time (??). I dunno what/when this happened precisely.

Despite some hours trying various offical vsftpd conf examples as well as some howtos, I've been unable to make it work again sad

Whatever I start it standalone or with xined, from the host or another PC on the LAN, I cannot get a connection.
Basically it means we need to download every packages from an Arch mirror in Europe for every PC AL's installed on, when we used to donwload them only once on our LAN mirror neutral

Q > anybody has a (link to) workin vsftpd.conf with anonymous connection (pacman requires this)
Q > some howtos say vsftpd.conf now stays in /etc/vsftpd but it seems it still is in /etc in Arch ?

Many thanks
