Arch lagging and just being slow.

SPECS:
GPU:  EVGA GTX 1080
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D @ 4.76 GHz
Memory: DDR5-6000
Monitors: 1x1080p 1x4K

Ever since I installed arch (yesterday) It's been running slow. Windows borders creating visual artifacts when moved, and overall being slow. I've updated drivers, turned on EXPO, and disabled integrated graphics. The parts aren't overheating (GPU idle at 50-55 C, CPU idle at 50 C). GPU idle usage at 15% and CPU at 5%. GPU goes up to 100% 62 C when running blender benchmarks. CPU goes up to 100% 75 C when running blender benchmarks.

Re: Arch lagging and just being slow.

Saw the arch wiki, installed a driver called NVIDIA through pacman.

Re: Arch lagging and just being slow.

turned on EXPO

Disable that again.

Do the blender benchmarks yield reasonable results?

Please read https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855
We'll first and foremost have to know what you're running how that is "being slow".

loginctl session-status

And please post your complete system journal for the boot:

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st
