Intel arc B580 crashing xorg [Solved]

Can anyone help with an issue I've had switching graphics cards,I have just switched from in old Nvidia 1060 to the intel B580 and since then xorg won't start. I've tried switching to gdm to try and auto configured Wayland desktop environment only to get the same issue.

Re: Intel arc B580 crashing xorg [Solved]

Please don't paraphrase, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=57855

Please post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General resp. look for https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Core_d … _core_dump
In doubt please please post your complete system journal for the boot:

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

Re: Intel arc B580 crashing xorg [Solved]

Please use [code][/code] tags, not "quote" tags. Edit your post in this regard.
Remove /etc/X11/xorg.conf and xf86-video-intel
There may be more configs referring that, check

grep -ri intel /{etc,usr/share}/X11/xorg.conf*

Report back with an updated xorg log (unless everything just works fine, then please mark the thread as solved)
