I recently bought a 2TB Kingston KC3000 and installed Linux on it. When I try to test the disk performance, I get the following error:
Feb 09 11:18:48 debian kernel: nvme nvme0: I/O tag 187 (c0bb) opcode 0x1 (I/O Cmd) QID 3 timeout, aborting req_op:WRITE(1) size:131072
Feb 09 11:18:48 debian kernel: nvme nvme0: Abort status: 0x0
This is already the second Kingston SSD I’ve tried, and the same issue happens.
I tried setting the BIOS to AHCI and also to RAID mode, but the problem persists. I also tried some solutions I found online, such as:
nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0
pcie_aspm=off
Both firmware and BIOS are up to date.
However, when testing disk performance, these errors appear and the system freezes during heavy write workloads.

Do the parameters currently apply?
cat /proc/cmdlineAlso please post more context around the errors, in doubt your complete system journal for the boot:
sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.stOffline
Hi, thanks for the reply
