Ryzen 7000 random system freezing

Hi all,

I recently swapped platforms from a Ryzen 7 5700X3D to a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 6000 MT/s DDR5 RAM. I didn't deal with complete system lockups for a long time (not since the Ryzen 3000 days!), but now my system is locking up randomly and does not respond to REISUB. I've tried all of the Ryzen-related workarounds: typical current idle, disabling C-states, applying positive PBO offset, disabling XMP/EXPO, etc.. My BIOS is up to date. I cannot rely on my system to do anything critical right now since I don't trust it to not lock up anymore.

Hardware config:
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB DDR5-6000 CL36
Asus ROG STRIX B850-I GAMING WIFI
NVIDIA FE RTX 5080

I would appreciate some help with this issue. Is it possible I have a bad piece of hardware? Or am I missing something that can bring stability back to my system?

Re: Ryzen 7000 random system freezing

Post full output of command: "sudo journalctl -b-1'.

Re: Ryzen 7000 random system freezing

I just had another lockup and looked at the journal after a hard restart, but it ended completely abruptly like other lockups with no errors (MCEs, etc).

The thread you posted is probably related.

I'll post a complete journalctl when it happens again, the previous one was from a long uptime and contained some of my information.
