Basically the subject line: using Chromium, in any text entry box in any website, or even in the address bar, can't middle-click to paste. Middle-click-paste works fine in all other apps I've tested, including other browsers (firefox, min) and other electron apps (code).
This occurs both on my laptop and on my desktop machine.
Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Is that Chromium running on Wayland and all other programs, where it works, running on XWayland/X11?

No, all tested programs are running native wayland (sway), no Xwayland. (I mean, Xwayland is running, but both `xeyes` and `swaymsg -t get_tree` say that none of them are running under Xwayland.)

What "wayland" specifically? Gnome recently disabled that by default, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=313089 (though that would affect everything) and generally there might be pending compatibility issues w/ random compositors.

I'm using sway, no gnome.

Anything like https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Sway#Clipboard ?
Does it work under weston?
Does the middle-click otherwise operate as expected in chromium (open links in a new tab)?
Do you use any IME parameters? Gtk4? https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Chromi … nd_support
