"Failed to connect to wpa_supplicant - wpa_ctrl_open: Success"

I'm trying to get WPA working on my PC. On my laptop, everything works fine via AUTOWPA. I never touched any wpa-supplicant-file to make it work. Now I copied all relevant files (rc.conf, the network-profile) to my PC and I get this error.
I use ndiswrapper on my PC, but that works fine. On my laptop i have an ipw2945-chip. Who can help?
