Do you have https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … odeswitch/ and also did you re-plug the dongle after installing the patched driver (keep it unplugged for some seconds)

both links you sent me i actually checked yesterday night

This might be a goosechase, but I wonder if the patched driver works with the LTS kernel.

sadly i tried lts and nope
both no

Maybe it's time to contact the developer of the patch.

I figured (at least for the linked patch) - it was just for reference about what's going on on your system.
this is the journalctl after patch
Acutally it's a filter - do you still get the modeswitch errors?
Since this is a dongle and radio draws quite some power:
/: Bus 002.Port 001: Dev 001, Class=root_hub, Driver=ohci-pci/5p, 12M

ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)Does it work if you plug it into the USB 3 hub?
Offline
sadly not working on USB 3 hub too
Offline
i'm sad to announce that i tried to use sudo pacman -Syu again
kernal updated hyprland broke
something about libhyprutils.so.12 not found i think
tried reinstalling hyprland to no avail
any suggestions currently i will not be able to test since i'm locked out of arch (currently on windows)
Offline
pacman -Qs hyprcurrently on windows
3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.
Edit: this is relevant since radio is the primary victim of this condition, though in theory I'd expect re-attaching the dongle to clear the state but who knows…

dear seth ,fast startup was off for 4 years , as as said my pc is old as shit and used to crash alot in the past, and having fast startup enabled bricked it 2/4 times cuz the pc lost power
and as i said , i cannot get into linux currently as hyprland refuses to start after i updated to linux 7.1.4
and before u say the lts version sir that updated too and also has issues with hyprland
file missing is libhyprutils.so.12
Offline
i cannot get into linux currently as hyprland refuses to start after i updated
What does hyprland have to do w/ "get into linux"?
=> 2nd link below
Offline
nothing i just forgot i can use ctrl+alt+f4
doesn't matter
anyway , as i said its not fast sturtup problems from windows i have that disabled long ago
Offline
pacman -Qs hypr
and the actual hyprland error you get might be relevant.
(The 2nd link below actually just shows how to boot the multi-user.target)
About fast-start: since windows keeps enabling it w/ updates, have you recently check that it's *still* disabled?
Offline
i wish it was hyprland was relevent but the error was just a missing utils file due to update (i forgot i installed it usin cmake meaning i had to recompile it all after update )
error while loading shared libraries: libhyprutils.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryas for windows i'm using windows 10 (pc can't handle 11 ) , which didn't have an upgrade for a long time , i will check again regardless
oh yeah and about the 2nd link i read that

So is that situation now sorted out?
do you still get the modeswitch errors?
Resp. post a complete system journal to illustrate the new status quo.
