i have been searching all over the web and tried a few patches but nothing works sadly
now i'm out of options and i hope there is a solution
rfkill was soft blocked and i unblocked

this is the first time i post someting on the internet

This part of TheInternet™ is an asynchronous forum with a global audioence.

People will respond when
* they are awake and ideally not drunk
* they have free time
* they have any idea about the topic

i tried to connect my bluetooth dongle it refused to connect

We'll have to figure

Please post your complete system journal for the boot after trying to pair some BT device

sudo journalctl -b | curl -s -H "Accept: application/json, */*" --upload-file - 'https://paste.c-net.org/'

and also

lsusb -tv

Does the dongle show up in

rfkill

?

Do you have https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … odeswitch/ and also did you re-plug the dongle after installing the patched driver (keep it unplugged for some seconds)

This might be a goosechase, but I wonder if the patched driver works with the LTS kernel.

Re: bluetooth not working linux 7.1.3

I figured (at least for the linked patch) - it was just for reference about what's going on on your system.

this is the journalctl after patch

Acutally it's a filter - do you still get the modeswitch errors?

Since this is a dongle and radio draws quite some power:

/: Bus 002.Port 001: Dev 001, Class=root_hub, Driver=ohci-pci/5p, 12M
ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)

Does it work if you plug it into the USB 3 hub?

Re: bluetooth not working linux 7.1.3

pacman -Qs hypr

currently on windows

3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.

Edit: this is relevant since radio is the primary victim of this condition, though in theory I'd expect re-attaching the dongle to clear the state but who knows…

and the actual hyprland error you get might be relevant.
(The 2nd link below actually just shows how to boot the multi-user.target)

About fast-start: since windows keeps enabling it w/ updates, have you recently check that it's *still* disabled?

Re: bluetooth not working linux 7.1.3

i wish it was hyprland was relevent but the error was just a missing utils file due to update (i forgot i installed it usin cmake meaning i had to recompile it all after update )

error while loading shared libraries: libhyprutils.so.12: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

as for windows i'm using windows 10 (pc can't handle 11 ) , which didn't have an upgrade for a long time , i will check again regardless
oh yeah and about the 2nd link i read that
