pppoe problem

Hi, Im using a dial up (although it can be used as a router, my isp doesnt allow that :\) ADSL modem (Rotal RTA1320a). I have just finished a successful install of archlinux 0.8
arch recognizes the network card, but Im having problem connection to the internet.
I used pppoe-setup to config my connection and added the needed dns, and pppoe-start reports that everything is ok, but I just cant surf, ping, or use pacman.
my eth0 in rc.conf = dhcp, but I am not sure I configured the dhcp ok, and I cant remember what was in eth0 before dhcp (I might need to manually configure it)
I will be glad for help, tnx!

Re: pppoe problem

I also use pppoe in the dormitory. I use /etc/network-profiles/ instead of writing everything in rc.conf

It works great..
